REVIEW OF RHODOLITE TENNIS BRACELET & QUESTION
I received the rhodolite tennis bracelet (J288317) & was disappointed...mainly because the picture showed that beautiful pink glow showing through the stones. In reality the garnets are rather dark & are much more like the traditional garnets. I held this piece up against my JR rhodolite older ring (the 4.2 ct solitaire) & the newer rhodolite band ring, both of which have the beautiful pink glow coming through the stone. The stones on the bracelet are definitely different. In addition, the bracelet is very very light in weight - seems kind of flimsy for the price. However, if the color of the stones had been different, I would have kept it. QUESTION: Did anyone else get this bracelet & are the stones like mine? I am wondering whether I just got an inferior one.

My, My....Judith's Gold Clad
I had ordered the JR chronograph watch quite a bit ago but sent it back because I hated the color of the gold clad. Some posters had mentioned that the watch did not represent the color of her gold clad. Anyway, I ordered the OTO truffle bracelet in gold. Figured I would test it again. Well, I love it. I was wearing two large gold bracelets when it arrived and the color blended perfectly. In fairness, I have not worn it out in the sun yet but am sure happy with the color.
I also checked the regular price of this bracelet and I saved almost $120...is that possible. Guess I don't remember OTOs having that much of a price reduction.

Minimum reviews on the TSV watch
I wonder why there are so few reviews on the TSV watch being that it sold out in the brown and black? I ordered all three and was impressed with the first arrival - the black. Now that I have all three, I'm unsure of any of them. I do not care for the animal straps at all. The traditional bracelet link it came with is narrower and thinner than I'm accustomed to in JR's watches. I have the ceramic watches in black and brown and several stainless watches, so I'm not for certain I'm keeping any of the TSV watches.

Went to Sams This Morning
I was a little surprised, but Sam's has an amazing array of Judith Ripka jewelry - two showcases full of rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Most were real gemstones - citrine, blue topaz, etc. Some really nice pieces, and it seemed to me the prices were pretty good, although I don't watch her shows on the Q. A nice selection, but I have plenty of her things.
Someone had suggested we shop at Sams for jewelry, and I was quite shocked to see what really good choices they had. It's not Tiffany's, but we found a very pretty men's cross with a small diamond for under $50.00, in stainless steel. Has a nice 22 inch chain, also stainless. It's for a 16 year old; just what we wanted and couldn't find anywhere else.

Green Goddess Ring and New Opal Ring with Diamonque
Just received these two rings and again Judith hit a grand slam home run with these two. I love the green goddess ring. Has tons of sparkle from the diamonique, and that green stone just sparkles and glows. So happy I got that one on clearance. It's a fabulous ring. The new Opal ring is encrusted with tons of diamonique and the bling is off the charts. The Opal is pretty and has lots of colors to it. I can't stop looking at these rings. What a great purchase this was. Thank you Judith!

If You bought this recently, J275385 JR Sterling Country Link Necklace, Question!
I had this one and the silver finish was gray and dull, back it went. I love the clad and could use the 16" but I am afraid to get it again. However, it was presented recently and I was wondering if any of you got it and if the new batch of silver is better. Thanks so much.

Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr and more snow and ice. Nothing more to say. If you saw any part of the Eagles game on TV last Sunday you have the complete picture. And winter is a week away. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I received the OTOs - necklace & bracelet - of the rhodolite/DMQ and I do believe it will be returned. While lovely & small DMQ ct. wt., it's still too much for me up at my neck. By the way, it lays beautifully on one's neck. The bracelet at 7 1/2 is also too big for my 6' wrist as I usually take a 7 1/4 in a soft bracelet. I was also disappointed in the color of the rhodolite, expecting more pink within it. They are dark stones, perfectly represented in the online video. It was too much money to have just a collector piece and not wear it, as I do with everything else. Lord knows I've enough jewelry to open my own boutique, and then some.
DTGD has called me by my given name several times this week, followed by 'what are you doing?' which has startled me each time. She, of course, is imitating her Pop Pop. After eight days of presents during Chanukah, she asked several times last week if there were any more presents. I would say she has found the joy of the actual gift, not just playing with the wrappings. Her skills continue to increase almost daily, and I give much of the credit to the iPad apps which she plays, while I sit along side her, after she gets up from her nap and first 'cleans up and puts away." Matching, color and letter recognition along with small motor skills has greatly improved. She is such a joy to behold.
Off to laundry, tea and the paper.

Hi Sammycat. Wanted to let you know I received Chuck's TTV Garnet bracelet yesterday, and what a great purchase it is. It's a very weighty piece and very flexible. Nice and bold also. 49 carats of garnets that are perfectly matched and very sparkly. Love this one. Also, wanted to let you know that Michael is having a TTV Largest garnet stone ring on Jan. 15th. Also, he'll be on Shop I think next week and he has a new Peridot ring he'll be showing. It's item number 137-374, no pic of it yet, but if you go to his Facebook page it's there.

Yo! - 12/15/13 - Bill of Rights ratified, 1791
Good morning and happy Sunday to us all.
Gracious. When the sun just began to creep over the horizon and illuminate the landscape, I had an audible gasp come out of me. The vision I saw reminded me so much of the snow bound country home in Dr. Zhivago that it was really crazy. Everything had a snow background with icy crystals covering all and allowing for the most spectacular blingy effect.
We had a surprise visit from my sister and her hubby yesterday. They were temporarily up from Florida because of a death in his family and I did not anticipate being able to see them because to their schedule. It was quite a treat. Poor things - their "Florida blood" was not a friend to them in coping with the winter weather.
Off to get some chores done and then read the paper once I retrieve it from its icy perch.
