Hi, are the Q Ripka bangles consistent with other Q jewelry brands? I have Bixby and L. Greene designs in average and they fit fine. I tried a 18kt Judith diamond bangle in the Sawgrass outlet and couldn't begin to get on. I wear a size 8 ring, but usually a small/average wrist. Hope everyone is enjoying the shows!

I am assuming it is because of the price. Still seems high to me for the bracelet and the necklace. Haven't heard what the metal is.
Well, since per the q's schedule, she won't be back again this year. Then there is the REAL BORING 1st few weeks on the q...from the day after Christmas through most of January...with endless clearance, Sleep Number beds, diet and fitness products and lots of linens and cleaning products...YAWN. To me, q shows don't start getting enjoyable to watch again til near February...sigh
Good morning and happy Saturday to us all.
Cold and about to get colder, with snow on the way. Rather windy right now, but lots of sunshine bringing brightness but very little warmth. Still, I'm not complaining after seeing what's doing with the snow in other parts of our country.
Did you get the make and model of the truck which hit me? OY! I began my gradual reintroduction to the gym and my activities there on Wednesday and have felt, over and over, every muscle cajoled back into action. I took yoga on Wednesday and Thursday and did aerobics and weights on Friday. Mind you, everything was at least half, or less, that I normally do and I was in very slow speed. The mind is willing but the 67 year old body is saying not so fast! :)
On Wednesday I will have a PET Scan for the first time. My oncologist feels that it, coupled with special blood test to be taken on the 23rd in his office, with give us a good indication of any hidden gremlins within. For this scan one must almost go on the Atkins diet for 24 hours prior and refrain from all physically activity.
I so enjoyed all the shows with Miss Judie this visit, with most being seen by me via DVR. But I really enjoyed the last show because I was able to chat with many of you during the shows. This is always such a treat.
Off to finish the laundry and read the paper.

I've had the sterling textured cuff for some time now. I wear it to work and I'm a flight attendant, so it has gotten a little dirty. How do I go about cleaning it without damaging it?? A silver polish cloth doesn't work at all. Any ideas?

Ominous looking day today, as we await the winter storm which has ravished so much of the nation already. We are supposed to get a combo of snow, rain, ice, which will keep changing over the next two days. A-ha! I looked out the window and the flakes have already begun.
Do you, who are old enough, remember what you were doing when you heard Lennon had been killed? I was watching Monday Night Football and I remember Howard Cossell speaking very eloquently about John Lennon.
DTGD is really into pretending, and she drags me into a lot of her scenarios. I have drunk enough imaginary tea to begin a lake. One of the gifts she received from us during the eight days of Chanukah was a band set, with triangle, tambourine, and various other instruments. She had us up and marching around the family room as her vision of a band formulated.
I'm baking banana bread with chocolate chips to give out to some neighbors as a holiday gift. The ripeness of the bananas sprang me into action, although I will still need one more loaf later in the week. Usually I distribute them in coordination with Chanukah, but this year my recuperation and the earliness of the holiday declared now would be the time.
I hope everyone is delighted with the treasures as they arrive this week and I look forward to reading reviews. I ma woefully behind on posting reviews and I hope to correct that this week, maybe on Wednesday as I await the PET Scan.

This looks like a pretty bracelet, but the reviews (there are only 6 total) mention that the toggle clasp comes undone. Anyone have this and can comment on it? Thanks!

I am interested if it is very petite. I was able to find a description that says pendant is half in but I do not know if that is for both combined. It comes in many pretty colors and seems to be on sale a number of places for a very reasonable price. TIA
It arrived today. Totally gorgeous!!! Got the 20"(matinee) length. The 18" was sold out already by the time I ordered but it did come back in from cancellations.
The locking clasps are strong and secure. The rhodolite stones look more like traditional garnet to me and match a much older garnet/black onyx cuff that was presented around Holiday time that year. Wearing with an older pair of pearl/rhodolite drop Ripka earrings from the Q....this will be stunning!
Will wear out tomorrow and see how she flys. So far purely from visuals....it seems to be a keeper.

In the past, I either just wasn't crazy about JR designs or, if I were, they were a bit too pricey for me. Well, I stumbled across J277889 and decided I just HAVE to have these! On clearance at $277.72, I thought that was a pretty good deal at about $70/bangle... I see that she has single bangles similar to the ones in this set that are $130 each. So I went for it and they arrived today... I am so pleased with the quality and the look of these! I'm jingling as I type this post lol... just wanted to share
